TOMS

Alright, I left my grandparents a message on their voice mail. The news is this: in just over a week I am returning to LA to work for my favorite benevolent shoe company (TOMS) full time! In pure TOMS fashion, all of this has transpired in a short amount of time, and I am still somewhat shocked that I’m looking at owning a car, renting a place in LA and leaving (again) the definition of all things lovely, the pacific northwest.

Now for all of you worrying about my ecological footprint, fear not, my bike is coming with me and will be utilized as often as is possible. My job, however, requires that I own a vehicle. My scooter dreams will be, once again, shelved until the next chapter.

As a company, there are some really exciting times ahead! And I heard that summer in LA is pretty fantastic… I foresee camping, hiking, beaching, swimming, and lots and lots of cycling.
