LISTS AND THE LIKE

FLOATING ON THE BRIDGE

With five days resting between me in this moment and the moment when I settle into the car and drive away to LA, my life has turned into a fit of lists.

People to See
CDs to Burn
Books to Bring
Projects to Complete
Adventures to Go On
Things to Gather
Food to Eat
Phone Calls to Make
Pictures to Take
People to Hug
etc etc etc

Older Sister, Bekah is kindly joining me on my adventure south! This is our first roadtrip since we were like [really young] so I’m stoked about taking on the 5 with her as my co-pilot. Seeing as Bekah is better at actually taking photos, there will be ample pictorial evidence of our journey and I’ll complete the lofidigivideo documentation (Still have several videos to share from my last roadtrip to San Francisco with the dream team, add it to the Projects to Complete list). Even though you won’t be with us, you’ll feel like you were, and then you’ll probably wonder why you wanted to feel like that in the first place. But that’s ok, we’ll all still like you

…and we’ll think you’re a fantastic person! nice job!

    May a suggest another list?

    Photos to mail :)

Actually, that’s probably asking a little much when you’re already running around a bazillion list and only five days, so no worries.

You MUST be on your way to becoming Californian — you said “the 5″ instead of “I-5.” That’s a SoCal thing, from my recollections of my San Diego days.

My grad program has student teaching opportunities in East L.A., so theoretically we could live and work in the same town for once. Except the part where L.A. is, well, L.A. Good luck, Leah. CONGRATULATIONS on the job!
